ZTE Connector Setup

After connecting with PC through USB data cable, WF520/ WF520F/ WF920 / WF920F CDMA
fixed wireless terminal (FWT) can provide the following data services:
  •  Internet Access
  •  File Transmission
  •  PC Fax
Please firstly consult your local telecom operator to get the relevant services.
Before using data services, please make sure your FWT has been powered on and work normally.
Please refer to the User Manual for the operations about this part.

Precautions

When using data services, users must pay attention to the following points:

  •  The FWT works normally;
  •  Your computer works normally;
  •  The connection between PC and FWT should be reliable. Don’t pull out USB cable
    unless PC prompts “Can’t find USB MODEM”;
  •  The area where the FWT is located must have network support
  •  The driver has been installed correctly
  •  Make sure the local other networks are disconnected;
  •  Please don’t connect LAN simultaneously to avoid the network disconnection of FWT;
  • Please don’t exit from the application during the connection or disconnection.
    Disconnect before exiting from application;
  •  Don’t disconnect or exit right after the connection is made because it will easily cause
    the uncompleted disconnection. Sometimes you need to restart the FWT and insert USB
    data cable;
  •   Please close the dial-up application/hyper terminal application/fax application firstly and
    then pull out USB data cable connected with the FWT after you finish using the data
    services.

FWT supports the following operating systems:

Windows 2000
Windows XP

 Minimum system requirements:

CPU Pentium-II/233MHz
USB Interface 2.0 (compatible with 1.0 & 1.1)
CD ROM CD-ROM drive (used for installation only)
Memory 64 MB
Hard Disk 30 MB
